Our school community enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating St Brigid, our patron saint. The children took part in making traditional St Brigid’s crosses, learning about their meaning and the story behind this special Irish tradition.

There was great enthusiasm and creativity on display as the children worked together, and the pride they took in their crosses was clear to see. It was a joyful day filled with music, treats, and a real sense of celebration.

St Brigid’s Day is always a special occasion at St. Brid’s Special School, and this year was no exception. The children had a fantastic day marking the feast of our patron saint and keeping a much-loved tradition alive.
